Lauren Conrad will be hosting the 2nd Annual Designs for the Cure Gala
this fall, which brings together influencers and fashion to raise funds
for breast cancer services in Los Angeles County. These services
include breast cancer screening, treatment and research.
One of the reasons she was drawn to this cause is because a major focus of the Komen Los Angeles County Affiliate is to help uninsured and underinsured women and men who have symptoms of breast cancer and are facing many barriers in getting the health care they need. And Lauren thinks it’s fair to say that we should all have the right to a healthy and productive life—regardless of our insurance status.
Lauren Conrad also announces that Paper Crown will be sponsoring the gala. The event will be a “pink-tie” affair and she will be working with a group of survivors to get them dressed and feeling beautiful for the big night. Since Lauren figured you guys might want to see what goes on behind-the-scenes leading up to the event, she will be keeping you all updated on the fittings, fashion and fun. She will also share plenty of great ways that you can help out, too, even if you won’t be there for the event.
